Biodel Shares Implode (BIOD)

Biodel Inc. (NASDAQ: BIOD) is getting murdered today.  It might as well be called Bio-Hell.  Shares are down over 65% at $5.60 on more than 1 million shares after teh open.  On average days it trades under 200,000 shares.  The company said its VIAject met primary endpoints in hypoglycemic events and weight gain in pivotal Phase III studies.  But results in India were not comparable to US and Germany.  Options are apparently not available here.  9:35 AM EST
