Volume Spike Investor

CROCS Inc. (NASDAQ: CROX) is getting hammered this morning.  The stock gapped down marginally, but it has gone from bad to worse.  Oddly enough, there is no official news.  Shares are down 21% at $2.67 today with 2.5 million shares having traded hands as of 11:17 AM EST.  Average volume is over 3.4 million shares, and we’d expect that get passed up soon as moves like in this stock usually preempt larger trading volume.  We’ll post an update if anything solid surfaces.

It’s just a thought, but maybe Obama said he thinks these shoes are just as ugly as we think they are.
