Volume Spike Investor

Marvell Technology Group Ltd. (NASDAQ: MRVL) is surging this morning.  What is interesting is that this particular price surge is on an earnings warning. On the surface it also looks like a fairly ugly warning even for the current environment (details here).  It seems that maybe the bullish sentiment in th market and some efficiency of actually having prices factor in data may be starting to come back into play.  That might mean that you can actually analuyze stocks beyond just the next hour.

Shares are up over 7% at $7.20 at 9:20 AM EST.  We have seen almost 40,000 share strade hands and the average daily volume here is actually about 15 million shares.
