ICT Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: ICTG) is trading up a monster percentage today on a takeover offer.  This is a very thin volume stock which even with 45,000 shares at 9:39 AM EST is above its average daily volume.  Aegis has proposed a cash acquisition of ICT Group at $8.00 per share.  This closed at $3.60 Friday, but its 52-week trading range is $2.50 to $11.67.

This offer is a premium of approximately 71% over the thirty day average closing price and is a 122% premium over Friday’s close.  Aegis is seeking the support and approval of the Board of directors at ICTG to effect the transaction on a friendly basis through a merger between ICTG and a subsidiary or special purpose vehicle or parent of Aegis.
