Volume Spike: MOSAIC (MOS)

Mosaic Co. (NYSE: MOS) is getting slapped around this morning.  This rose over 8% Friday on an otherwise awful market day and its call option activity was through the roof.  With a minute until the open, we have shares down almost 5% at $40.96 on close to 63,000 shares in pre-market trading.  The reason for this morning’s drop is simple: there were rumors of a possible deal in the sector, yet no deal was announced.
