Cell Genesys, Inc. (NASDAQ: CEGE) has run up 20% on 5-times normal volume today as of 2:12 PM EST.  You can guess why….. This was one of the former Dendreon speculative competitors as far as investors and traders are concerned.  Interestingly enough, we had this one as having canceled its prostate cancer trials before.

The two approved drug treatments, not vaccines, which are being released are Tamiflu made by Roche (OTC: RHHBY) and Relenza made by GlaxoSmithkline (NYSE: GSK).   Gilead Sciences, Inc. (GILD) gets royalties from Roche for Tamiflu, and its shares are indicated north of $48.00 [...]

DryShips Inc. (NASDAQ: DRYS) is surging this morning after completing a $500 million offerng and an analyst upgrade.   Shares are up 11% at $6.17 on over 1.3 million shares at 9:04 AM EST.
