Exponential Volume Surge: On2 Technologies (ONT)

Shares of On2 Technologies Inc. (ONT) are surging on exponential volume today.  The company signed a pact with NetEase, a Chinese Internet technology company.  NetEase is supposed to be one of the top sites by home page views and it will deploy On2’s VP6 encoding format and Flix Engine transcoding software “in a number of its video channels.”  Shares of On2 (ONT) are up almost 30% at $0.55 on almost 5 million shares as of 12:15 PM EST.  Its average daily volume is almost 600,000 shares and the 52-week range is $0.11 to $1.06.
