Pre-Market Volume Gainer: Exelixis (EXEL)

Exelixis, Inc. (NASDAQ: EXEL) is trading up sharply early this morning on word from last night’s ASCO abstract that that its cancer study was very promising for brain cancer patients.  Shares were up 35% last night at the after-hours peak in thin volume, and this morning we have shares indicated up almost 23% at $5.55 on 39,000 shares as of 8:14 AM EST.  52-week range is $2.11 to $7.35. -JCO
