Volume Spike: Cell Therapeutics (CTIC)

Cell Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ: CTIC) is trading up big this morning and we have now crossed the 150% threshold of daily average trading volume.  Over the weekend, there was a report from BiomedReports calling the company’s turnaround plan as being on track.  This is after much narrower losses last week.  Shares are up 20% at $1.35 on 31 million shares as of 11:10 AM EST.  Before earnings last week, this was merely a $0.60 stock.
