Key Volume Alert: Biogen Idec (BIIB)

Biogen Idec Inc. (NASDAQ: BIIB) is down on active volume this morning after disclosing its 10th PML case with Tysabri for MS in patients.  Shares are down 5.8% at $47.17 on 1.1 million shares as of 9:49 AM EST.  This is over 1/3 of an entire day’s average volume in less than 20 minutes of official trading.

Be advised, share have snapped back from other PML disclosures after the initial drops on the news.
