Price/Volume Alert: SLM Thru $10 on Active Trading (SLM)

SLM CORPORATION (NYSE: SLM) is seeing a flurry of continued interest today.  In the first 27 minutes of trading, SLM traded 3.8 million shares compared to 12 million on average.  Shares are up almost 10% at $10.15 and the 52-week range is $3.11 to $20.49.  FBR raised the target to $16.00 from $13.00 based on its continued government contracts and survival. -Jon Ogg
