VOLUME ALERT: Secondary Offerings (AMP, ATPG, ERIC, MI, VMC)

We are seeing some active trading in the stocks of companies which raised capital via secondary offerings that priced last night and this morning.  We have the full details of each pricing at 24/7 Wall Street, but here is how these are trading this morning:

Ameriprise Financial Inc. (NYSE: AMP) down 3.5% at $24.80 on 5-times volume.

ATP Oil & Gas Corp. (NASDAQ: ATPG) down almost 4% at $8.30 on 4-times volume

LM Ericsson Telephone Co. (NASDAQ: ERIC) down 1% and on thin volume.

Marshall & Ilsley Corporation (NYSE: MI)down 1% at $6.05 on 7-times volume.

Vulcan Materials Company (NYSE: VMC) is the sole riser of the day….. up almost 7% at $45.60 on more than 5-times volume.
