Volume Spike Investor

Dell Inc. (Nasdaq: DELL) shares are down more than 3 percent to $12.55 in early premarket trade, and may see a volume spike lower today. The company said Monday night it expects a “modest” decline in its second-quarter gross margins due to higher computer component costs, price competition, and a demand shift toward cheaper computers. The company said it expects to report a slight revenue increase, roughly in line with analyst expectations of 1.6 percent growth. — Mike Tarsala
