PREMARKET ALERT: Qualcomm (QCOM)

Qualcomm Inc. (Nasdaq: QCOM) shares are down 4 percent to $46.35 in premarket trading near 8 a.m. of less than 5,000 shares; the stock had been among the most active after-hours issues. The company beat fiscal third-quarter earnings expectations, but guided only in line for fiscal Q4. Analysts at First Charter raised concerns about the potential for falling average selling prices. — Mike Tarsala
