Symantec Corp. (Nasdaq: SYMC) shares are down more than 8 percent to $15.75 as one of the most active Nasdaq stocks as of 8 a.m. Eastern, with more than 100,000 shares traded. The security software maker posted EPS of 34 cents a share, a penny worse than analyst expectations. Revenue fell 12.5 percent from a year earlier to $1.44 billion, short of expectations of $1.49 billion.
