AIG Leads The Volume Pack (AIG)

American International Group (NYSE: AIG) is soaring again this morning.  At 8:08 AM EST we have already seen right at 1 million shares trade hands.  The stock is up over 12% and above $25.20 after a $22.53 close.  The company posted actual earnings from operations if you can imagine it.  AIG also named a new non-executive Chairman.

UPDATE: At 9:31 AM after the Opening Bell we have seen 8 million sahres trade hands and shares are up 18% at $26.25.  The 15.7 million shares of average daily volume should be hit by 10:00 AM….
