Volume Spike Investor

Charlotte Russe Holding Inc. (NASDAQ: CHIC) had its dream come true.  It found a buyer and will be bought by affiliates of private equity firm Advent International.  The deal is valued at about $380 million, or $17.50 per share in cash.  The firm has been shopping itself since the start of the year after it had opposed a prior deal.  At 8:50 AM EST we have seen over 700,000 shares trade hands and the stock is up 26% at $17.38 per share.  The average volume here is only about 270,000 shares, and the 52-week high was $16.32. -JON OGG
