BioSante Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: BPAX) is up big after announcing positive safety data in its ongoing LibiGel Phase III study and it plans to continue studies and submit an FDA new drug application by mid-2011. At 8:48 AM EST we have shares up 37% at $2.45, still down over 50% from a 52-week high of $5.50.  We have also seen over 160,000 shares trade and the average volume is only about 70,000 shares.  The market cap here is micro at $48.8 million before the pop this morning.-JON OGG
