Genzyme Drifting Lower (GENZ)

Genzyme Corporation (NASDAQ: GENZ) has yet to see a major wave of trading volume, but it will be very active today.  The troubled biotech giant is trading down about 3.2% at $53.75 on about 15,000 shares as of 8:43 AM EST. Baird cut the rating down to Neutral from Outperform after the date was set for September 1 for an FDA review after the FDA staff has questioned Genzyme’s new leukemia drug study.
