Melco Crown Entertainment Ltd. (NASDAQ: MPEL) is not up that much with a 1% gain to $5.32 as of 8:53 AM EST.  But the stock is among the most active of pre-market stocks with over 600,000 traded as of 8:53.  Average volume is 4.3 million shares.  The company’s secondary offering of 38,834,950 ADSs came in at $5.15, a discount of less than 3% to yesterday’s close.  This traded 13 million shares yesterday, so we’d expect today to be another exponential volume day in MPEL shares.  The last 10 million share day was July 2 and you have  to go to early May for that to be the case again.  Today should eclipse all those sessions. -JON OGG
