Marvel Joins The Mouse House (MVL, DIS)

Marvel Entertainment, Inc. (NYSE: MVL) is being acquired in a serious surprise merger by Walt Disney Co. (NYSE: DIS).  The term is for $50.00 per share, broken down as $30 in cash and then 0.745 shares of common DIS stock.  Marvel’s 52-week high is $41.74 and this closed at $38.65 on Friday.  As of 9:06 AM EST we have seen some 150,000 shares trade hands and the stock’s last print was up at $48.62… JON OGG
