Volume Spike Investor

Cleveland BioLabs, Inc. (NASDAQ: CBLI) has just popped on news that it received a patent allowance from USPTO to cover the method of protecting a mammal from radiation using flagellin or its derivatives. This patent was already granted by the nine member countries of the Eurasian Patent Organization (EAPO) and two additional countries. This stock popped 4% at the opem but is now ‘only’ up 1.1% at $4.48 at 9:32 AM EST.  We have seen 26,000 shares trade and average volume is about 160,000 shares.  This one could go either way today on price and on volume, but the stock did give a volume alert signal for over 15% of average volume by 9:35 AM EST….
