Volume Spike Investor

TRW Automotive Holdings Corp. (NYSE: TRW) is likely to be one of the more traded issues compared to average volue today on teh NYSE.  The company announced a 14 million share secondary offering and this has shares lower on the news.  The stock is down 7.5% at $18.76 as of 9:00 AM EST.  The volume has yet to come on strong, but the average volume here is only 1.4 million shares.  With 10-times an average day’s volume being offered, we’d expect that volume to pass the average daily volume in the first hour or two. – JON C.
