Volume Spike Investor

This had been a pretty rough week for Fannie Mae (NYSE: FNM) and Freddie Mac (NYSE: FRE).  The MBA was calling for them to be replaced and analysts warned that there may be no real value left here.  Fannie was north of $2.00 last week but closed at $1.37 yesterday.  At 9:08 AM EST we have shares up 13% at $1.55 and we have already crossed 9.5 million shares.  Freddie hit $2.50 last week and also at 9:08 AM EST we have Freddia Mac up 11% at $1.83 on over 2.5 million shares. -JON OGG
