Texas Instruments Inc. (NYSE: TXN) raised guidance and is active today and was last night, although the stock move is being viewed as a dud because it has moved rom lows so much and because valuations now look high.  The new quarterly guidance is $0.37 to $0.41 EPS on $2.73 to $2.87 billion in revenues.  The prior guidance was $0.29 to $0.39 EPS and $2.5 to $2.8 billion in revenues.  At 8:20 AM EST we have seen close to 60,000 shares trade hands and the stock is up just over 0.5% at $25.28.  The after-hours reaction was initially up 2% last night to right around $25.50. -JON OGG
