Microsoft Sees Elevated Options Trading (MSFT)
Posted in OptionsMicrosoft Corporation (NASDAQ: MSFT) has seen a low volume day in the shares of its common stock. But that is not the case in its call options. Trading volume has really picked up, with some call option contracts trading more than their entire open interest. You can imagine why… earnings bets ahead of Yahoo! tonight and ahead of Microsoft on Friday morning. Usually you see open interest passed in thinly traded contracts any time an institution comes in on smaller companies, but you rarely see more contracts trade in a single day compared to the open interest of the near contracts.
