Advanced Micro Devices Inc. (NYSE: AMD) is screaming higher after settling its claims with Intel.  The move is so much you have to wonder if it will stick.  The basic terms are: AMD and Intel obtain patent rights from a new 5-year cross license agreement, Intel and AMD will give up any claims of breach from the previous license agreement, and Intel will pay AMD $1.25 billion. At 9:03 AM EST we have seen almost 3 million shares print and AMD is up 22.9% at $6.54.  Anything above $6.36 if it holds will mark a new 52-week high.
