Priceline.com Hitting 52-Week Highs After-Hours (PCLN)

Priceline.com Incorporated (NASDAQ: PCLN) is up after-hours after beating its earnings targets. The online travel portal said gross travel bookings were $2.7 billion, up 32.8% over a year ago and revenues were up 30% at $730.7 million and its non-GAAP earnings was put at $173.3 million or $3.45 EPS.  Thomson Reuters had estimates at $2.92 EPS and $693.7 million in revenues.  Guidance is as follows: travel bookings of approximately 30% to 40% over last year, revenue growth of approximately 24% to 28% (implied at $511.5 million at the mid-point) above last year and pro forma earnings of $1.52 to $1.62 EPS. Thomson Reuters has estimates at $1.49 EPS and $506.8 million.

Priceline shares are up 8.1% at $187.75 on 720,000 shares as of 4:34 PM EST.  Go ahead and make that a 52-week high as the old high was $182.32.
