Samson’s Well Boost (SSN)

Samson Oil & Gas Limited (AMEX: SSN) is the biggest gainer seen in early trading this morning.  Shares are up over 51% at $1.00 on almost 500,000 shares as of 8:38 AM EST.  Average volume is only 1.19 million shares and the 52-week range is $0.18 to $1.09; the market cap was only $38.59 million as of Friday’s close at $0.6599.  The company said that in an eight hour period following the completion of a well clean out operation. that well flowed at an average rate of 2,406 BOPD and 3,180 MSCFD for a combined rate of 2,936 BOEPD.
