(NASDAQ: JASO) rarely makes the list of unusual trading stocks, but today is even more notable as the stock is making the list of today’s most active stock options contracts traded.

So the open interest will have just increased by a significant move.  3,000 contracts on its own might not seem like a major trade or like a major move, but it represents a far larger position than has been seen.

JA Solar has been just as volatile as other solar stocks.  The stock is down considerably by 5% after an hour and 20 minutes of trading.  As of 10:54 AM EST we have seen 2.31 million shares trade hands, well under the 6.86 million on average day.
